A Song About Anger Management
One of the typical things people associate with therapists is that they encourage people to find their "happy place". I decided to write a song that illustrated this principle. "Take Me Back" 's musical style reflects the message I am trying to send. The narrarator begins the song sounding very upset, and the music sounds angry and aggressive. As the narrarator enters his or her "happy place", the music reflects this.

Lyrics from excerpt: Oh feel this constant rage...It will engage Stringing me along With you right by my side I won't deny I hate going on... But there's a place...It's where I'm at Where my whole song, was not off track I'll close my eyes, don my disguise I will relax oh please... take me take me back... |
